What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a normal link with a tracking code attached. If you follow it and go on to buy something, the retailer pays the referring site a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had reached the product any other way.

How this applies to Pro OrthoVital

Pro OrthoVital is a free publication. Affiliate commission is one of the ways a site like this can fund research and writing without charging readers or hiding content behind a paywall. We may also display advertising.

Where a page contains affiliate links, that will be disclosed on the page itself, near the relevant content — not buried in the footer.

Our commitments

• Commission never buys a recommendation. A product does not appear, rank higher, or receive a better verdict because it pays more.
• Availability is not a reason to recommend. We do not feature a product merely because an affiliate programme exists for it.
• We will recommend nothing where appropriate. If nothing in a category is worth recommending, we will say so and leave the slot empty.
• Non-affiliate options get included. Where the best answer is a product we earn nothing from — or no product at all — we will still say so.
• No invented evidence. We do not publish fabricated ratings, testimonials, statistics or clinical claims to support a commercial link.

Programmes we may participate in

As the site develops we expect to join affiliate programmes operated by retailers and affiliate networks. We are not going to list programmes we have not actually joined. Once a programme is live, this page will be updated to name it, along with any specific wording that programme requires us to display.

Advertising

This site may carry third-party advertising in addition to affiliate links. Advertising is separate from editorial: advertisers do not review, approve or influence our guides, reviews or recommendations. Advertising and affiliate partners may set cookies — see our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

You are never obliged to use our links. If you would rather not, search for the product directly — you will pay the same price, and it makes no difference to the guidance we publish.
